Chinese Panda Coin

The Chinese Panda is a series of silver and gold bullion coins issued by People’s Republic of China. China issued its first gold coins picturing a panda design in 1982. These popular coins are uncirculated and issued in proof-like brilliant quality. There are several mints that produce these coins, including but not limited to: Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai and Shenyang. Unlike coins minted by other world mints, Chinese mints usually do not employ mintmarks. The official distributor in China for the silver and gold Panda coins is China Gold Coin Corporation  (CGCC), and the official distributor for overseas is China Great Wall Coins Investment Ltd. Singapore Gold Coins Investment Pte Ltd is the sole authorized distributor for Panda Coins in Singapore.
